I had a lady come in the other day pay for some food, used a hundred, her change was a 20, a 10 and a five. she said put the five in the tip jar so I handed her the 20 the 10 and the five and push the tip jar to her, 2 hours later she comes back saying you didn't give me my 20. I should have 20 more dollars, I was like well. you were only one of four customers I've had today, I still have the hundred you gave me. I can show you the receipt and the $5 is still in the tip jar, and she goes yeah but I don't have a 20. I should have a 20 and a 10 and I only have a 10, and I said ma'am I can't account for what you did after you left. but you left with 20 and a 10 and then I pointed to a camera that she doesn't know doesn't work, she goes well. I'll look again but if I don't find it I want my 20, I just chuckled and said well. have a nice day. thankfully she never came back

I just had the same answer that happened to me literally two months ago as they say I didn’t handle it like this, though.
