I'm not sure what the point of this is... 🤔 To make ppl w less feel worse? Are u saying the only reason she has a new car is that she has food stamps? How dare she have a vehicle to transport her son to appts and school? I doubt baby daddy is sending shit to help support that kid. I've never seen anyone on food stamps w a brand new car, and if that's the case, she was probably saving for 1 for a long time. Ppl are so judgemental and cruel, especially now.
Maybe the car is a used car, but new to them. I always called my cars "new" but they were years old. I have never bought a brand new car in my 68 years.🥰

I worked as a Food stamp and Medicaid Human Resource worker years ago. Most of the recipients were white, most were poor, most were just needing help for a little while until they could get through a bad time. I remember two who were real pieces of work, though. One was a wealthy white guy whose father owned a car dealership and caught him stealing from the business and fired him. He came in and wanted emergency housing aid and tried to talk me into making two months payment and saying it was one. I told him no and reported him. The second was a formerly wealthy woman who was going through a breakup with her significant other who kicked her out and cut her off. She tried to get benefits while keeping a hefty savings account "because it was hers". Denied. They were the only outright cheaters I remember.
