the landlord needs to be arrested and the two cops that think this is funny need to be reported.
It’s illegal to enter your apartment without a notice.it has to be at least 24 hour notice. I would go to code enforcement or take him to court for illegal entry.
I bet he has hidden camera's in that place
of your landlord has anything to do with cameras in your house you are renting that is a problem. I'd be having someone look over every inch of that home to make sure there are no hidden ones. I would not trust this situation. Start saving for that move now.
from a retired maintenance manager/ man what if it were a ruptured pipe or smoke? Some of you people have no clue!!!
obviously we don't know those story cuz this would have had a different outcome if it was going down like she claimed
Use your footage to backup your complaint with Internal Affairs. Then I bet something get done👍
that landlord is a creep. he has no right to enter your apartment without proper notice. and you can also tell him that you want to be present when he enters your apartment. him helping himself to what's in your refrigerator that is theft. he has went through your whole house guaranteed and he probably have set up his own cameras. the cops I would file a complaint against them for not doing their job properly. they know that the landlord is supposed to give you notice. just like they know that they can't make somebody leave a home if they have established residency. so the cops failed you. I would documentate every bit of this and I would take him to court and I'd get all my money back because I would tell the judge he made it a hostile place and unsafe for me and then I want my money back and moving expenses. hit him in the wallet maybe he'll learn a lesson maybe take his freedom away maybe a little learn his lesson. but this guy is a predator
The land lord is a noisy pervert.
I’d go the prosecutors office
ive ran into two cops that were like this. the first drew his gun at my 5 week old puppies and my 5 year old daughter. i went down to file a complaint and they laughed and said i was lying. wouldnt even file it. this was back in 2004. i am the one that called becouse i was robbed. as far as that goes he said its probably one of your sons friends. told my to go ask his friends. he wouldnt even try to find it. this was in flint michigan 2004. thats FLINT MICHIGAN!
No he cannot legally enter your apt without your knowledge, and 24 hours notice. Id move Asap! good luck.
file a civil case against your landlord!
It's definitely not ok. Most states require a 35 hour notice before they can come in your apartment.
It is a Civil Action at this point. Landlord vs. Tenant. The Landlord is violating the Tenants Rights under the Lease Agreement. Police do not arrest anybody for this. They Advise the Tenant of her Right to a Civil Lawsuit. If this was somebody other than the Landlord, the Police would have no problem a arresting a Burglar or Trespasser for "Breaking and Entering". In this case, the Landlord has a Key.
I rented an apartment from an older man who was always making creepy remarks to me. One day I got out of the shower and he was standing there. I called the cops , but they did nothing bc he was on the town council.
hope eventually he was arrested and they were fired
Not real, it is a skit people.🙄🥱😖
It's time to find another apartment.
You are only seeing one side of the story.
that landlord sounds like a pervert, coming in to your space to put camera so he can see you in the buff.
When you catch up on that back rent you can complain. until then keep up with the pay plan you agreed to.
regardless landlord should not be there unannounced nor moving and blocking cameras to hide what he is doing. police officer should be redirecting his trifling aas and not supporting the scumbag loser
Maybe they knew the landlord. They know tenants rights and they know that if he didn't give her a notice he needs to get out. She needs to report them.
landlords can't even knock on the door without notice. lol! landlord is trespassing, police should be arresting. I believe she has evidence for court.
because they know him
Oh hell no!! He would be meeting Mr Smith
In NJ, unless there was an emergency, oh like a flood, the landlord needs permission from the renter, Or if it is for maintenance, the visit needs to be pre approved by the tenant
turn the cop in it's called internal affairs take it video to the police station tell them u need to file a report on a cop and need to see internal affairs
Let's hear the whole story
They're all related, or they went to school together.
The landlord can not just go into a apartment that he rented.
My landlord broke a window to get into my house just because he wanted to come in. Cops did zero!
A landlord entered my place once and my dog bit him.
He’s watching her and he knew police were coming so her tried to turn cameras so he wouldn’t get in trouble
So what’s about that comment? I can’t even move out because he’s always in here? Are they dating or something? Is he living there with her and now she’s calling him just a landlord what’s the deal? Something else is happening?
Landlords anywhere are not supposed to be able to be into your apartment unless they give you 24 hour notice or unless you call them
She probably has the camera set to catch the landlord entering her apartment illegally. Seek resolve.
lawsuit
That's a good way to get shot in my house.
24 hour notice !
put in hidden cameras and document everything, then sue him. place key pads on doors... Run his information NOW..... FIND OUT CRIMINAL RECORDS AND EVERYTHING ELSE, PRIOR COURT CASES,CRIMINAL RECORDS ADDRESS, OTHER PROPERTY INCASE YOU SUE YOU CAN PUT A LEIN AGAINST THEM.
Time to move for your safety! 🤔
did they get any charges for acting like that?
he has no business in there without ac24 hour advancedbnotice@
wtf those cameras would be up someone's ass
Unfortunately, the cops like this is all a joke
hes not allowed to be there if shes not home
What the heckis going on with this officer? Why is he laughing about this? I would call 911 again and ask for real officers this time.
Remember there is always a bigger picture to this and she probably was given notice
