my wife acted like this for a while long ago... it is a test to see if you'll man up or be a coward. I simply asked her how she felt about it when her mother did it to her father. She turned beet red & ran into our bedroom closing the door. An hour later she came out, apologized & said that as a kid she hated when her mother would treat her father that way. SHE NEVER DID IT AGAIN. That was over 25 years ago. Our relationship has been wonderful since that day, both fulfilling our traditional roles in the household to the best of our abilities. It is all about respecting one another as well as understanding each other's imperfections & embracing them as the person they are.
