🤴🏿 How does a dog learn to be something natural? Mankind was the last to be created so that means dogs were having babies before then. So-called people are always interfering with the natural order of things. Just because you say that you're needed doesn't mean that you are. I mean, you dress animals, i.e., dogs, in human attire when they've been created with all of the necessities for survival. They do not need the extra.
She new what to do..
We rescued a beautiful Belgium Shepard, she had 7 puppies, then 3 more, it wasn't t that easy,...She looked at them, then just left them, and went under the dining room table... I got her out laid her on the prepared bed, and started putting the 10 puppies on 8 nipples, switching the bigger and smaller ones...She didn't look too thrilled with it all, but became a good Mother, with my help and bottle feeding too...We all just barely got through, up to Puppy Chow time, but We all survived 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Yes! it is natural for the dogs to be motherly automatically. But I highly disagree with some of you. Some new Mothers are really stressed, it does make them confused. Sometimes for no reason, they will eat the first born. So, on that note, when nothing is wrong with the puppy, and the Mother is very nervous, it is sometimes necessary to intervene and calm the new mom down and get the puppies suckling right away so she knows and calms down. When our Shepard had her first litter, she did eat the first one. She then had 5 or 6 more. The last one, sge try and eat it and my dad intervened and took the puppy away. She was just nervous and needed some guidance and soothing reassurance the puppy was ok and she was being a good Mom. Having their parents calm them does help them, its not interfering, its showing them love ❤️❤️❤️

When my first dog had her first litter, as the first puppy emerged she killed it trying to get it out of her. I believe this happens to dogs because they are isolated with humans and don’t see other dogs birthing, nursing puppies like they would experience in a pack, as she hadn’t grown up with any other dogs. I think puppies are removed from parents, siblings too soon.

my mama dog had her first litter last end of June. And being a boxer she had a nub tail so her pups had the super long tails at birth of course and she kept thinking they were the cords so she kept trying to chew them off. I had to stay very close night one but they were seen the next morning and everything went beautifully. I also had to tell her to lay down so her little ones could eat after about 2 days of her being slightly confused and very sleepy she got her needed rest and has become the best mama dog ever. I look forward to seeing her with her next litter in a year or 2 I bet she has no issues! Mama doggies are just super special 💜💜💜
