HOT

This is why coal miners took caged canaries into the mines back in the day. If the bird died, it meant either methane gas or carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is heavier than oxygen, so it settles to the lowest parts of a cave. If you think that torch went out because of water, you're "DEAD" wrong.

we used to wear the cards on a lanyard that could detect inert gasses. spelunking was a favorite past time of ours.

She put that in water, this osnt real. The reason you shouldnt go in for caves/old mines id because of the possibility of carbon dioxide. It would be further down Not at the front. That also wouldn't blow a fire out.

So this is actually interesting , look up the missing kids in America map with dots. then compare it to a map of the cave systems in America. It’s wild idk what could be the correlation but it is interesting.

It's comical to read how all of these psuedo-scientists pontificate over things they know absolutely nothing about..😋

Animals can make methane gas. Manure ponds can create it. And it’s deadly, CH4 it’s natural A gas,Cows and Hogs produce methane gas horses don’t produce as much as cattle an hogs

Bad air, low or no oxygen. You go in and you’ll start stumbling, feeling dizzy and the flame goes out. Get out quick.

This is The "Cave of Death," or Cueva de la Muerte, a small but lethal cave in Costa Rica near the Poás Volcano. The cave's danger comes from a buildup of nearly pure carbon dioxide gas, which is heavier than air and displaces oxygen at the bottom.

I never heard of doing the flame test. I usually only go a few feet into a cave hunting arrow heads and such. I guess that would be far enough to die though.
