my thoughts are it's the insurance companys set rules that Drs. have to follow that's why things get missed
As a nurse , I have always said that people take more time picking out a pair of shoes than a doctor!! I say shop for a doctor! I do research and try to find word of mouth reviews. With the internet today that can help!! It's a matter of life and death!!🤔
How many medical opinions could have avoided this. With all the money they had seems their physicians didn't do test, scans, MRI to rule out

Doctors really don't care, all they do is guess what's wrong, give you pills and charge you with a huge bill. Which kill you because you can't afford to pay the bill now you're stressing trying to figure out how to pay this huge bill and end up dying from stress🤔
I was misdiagnosed back in 2002 with multiple sclerosis bc I was a 32yr old female but I had a stroke & I was taking weekly injections for ms for 3 yrs & in2005 I had a massive stroke that caused brain damage & paralysis on my left side & it was bc of a clot in my right carotid artery & today I’m 55yrs old 20yrs disabled & I can’t use my left arm or hand & left leg weakness!! These doctors & hospitals need to be held accountable!

I was ignored. Kept telling my doc something was wrong. He came up with things like oh it’s perimenopause or its age, diet, fibromyalgia. Well it ended up being a cyst that was attached to my liver pancreas and spleen. It ruptured one night at work. Had to have emergency surgery spent two and a half months in the hospital recovering. It’s been six years and I now have tons of health issues. Still seeing the same doctors though. Because I don’t have any other options in network
It's not just celebrities.... I've had the unpleasant experience of several doctors telling me I'm "just drug seeking" when I've gone to them for my anxiety. It took years upon years to finally find a doctor that took me seriously. Due to being ignored and treated like 💩 for years, my anxiety has caused multiple physical illnesses and disorders now that I'm older. If they'd have just listened to me or paid attention to my clean drug screens, I'd be so much healthier. It's infuriating to deal with egotistical doctors and unfortunately there's more of them than there is intelligent ones who listen.
To be fair doctors never looked for rectal/colon cancer in patience his age. I speak from experience.My 28 year old daughter was diagnosed with stage 1,2,3 and 4 rectal colon cancer
Families of all these victims of medical Mal practice should Sue the doctors for misdiagnosed!

The medical "professionals" in the US manage to kill over 400, 000 people a year through misdiagnosis and medical mistakes. Gun homicides (15,000) and drunk driving deaths (13,000) are no where near even a 10th of the amount of people killed by medical errors and incompetency. Yet no one is talking about this other than the occasional social media post.

A neighbor was a head nurse at a big hospital for 40 years. She felt safe going to her hospital. She went in for surgery and the Dr cut an artery by mistake & she died on the table. So. You just never know.
that's why doctors call it a practice.
wow, ask questions and if the doctor is not listening, go to another Dr. don't just ignore your body.

Some doctors have a God Complex and don't listen to their patients. Some have been harassed ATF for doing their job and are just trying to make it to retirement. It's hard to find a doctor that really listens

More people have to speak up and press Dr.'s to listen. When i feel dismissed i just go to a different Dr or the specialust that i think can help with my symptoms. If it's stomach issues gastroenteroligist, if it's chest pressur, palpitation Cardiologist. Sometimes you have to bypass the family Dr or the Internal medicine Dr.

I have told my doctor that she better outlive me. I don't know what I would do without her.I had so many doctors in the past that just didn't care. She has helped to make my life much easier since she took me on as a patient.
America Health Care Sucks! There is no Pro-Active care. The Insurance, Pharmaceutical Companies & Clinics, Hospitals control what the Drs. can or not do. Human Health does not matter. Especially if you're a senior and on Medicare.
