I can't find a dentist and my teeth are all gonna just rot ..
Sad I had one of those when I was a kid and it sucked, but gave me a beautiful smile til suboxone rotted them all out, now I'm getting implants and I'm scared shit less.

It's a pallet expander. My daughter had one bc her 2 front teeth had a space between. Now her smile is beautiful!

I absolutely hated wearing this thing, the most uncomfortable device.
I had a palate expander as a 12 ' 13 year old. My mom had to turn the key every day. While I had it, I got an ear infection. The pain from my ear infection made it almost impossible to open my mouth for my mom to turn the key. I cried SO MUCH!! Also, the key for mine was tiny!
OMFG I had one of these as a child... but it was a pinhole with what looked like a paperclip 📎 they called a key....I had to turn it twice a day.... so painful

I had a separated in my teens and I had to do the same thing everyday. One turn in the morning. I needed to do it because I had a small jaw and needed to fit my feet for realignment.
My daughter had a pallet expander, but it was so worth it because she has a beautiful smile.

she popped her jaw out of joint. you can see the moment it happens. I've had this happen. it doesn't hurt when it happens, but it takes manipulation to get it back in and can damage nerves.

I had one years ago I was told and still believe it to this day that if you over tighten it just by a smidge you risk breaking your nose and or jaw. 🤷🏼♀️

Suboxone is being used for pain management and replaced opidotes. It's due to the war on drugs and not addiction. Do your research and many hospitals do surgery and patients are given Tylenol for pain .

I had one of those when I was 18 and said screw that and made them take it out. They said it was supposed to separate the bones in the roof of my mouth because my jaw was off-set. They said I would wear it for 6 months and if it does not work then I may have to have surgery to separate the bones anyway. I decided never mind I didn't need braces. Her device is a nicely upgraded version. Mine was like a torture device and had a small pin on the end that I had to put into a hole and twist to the left. It was not easy.

I did this for a year. It was painful. However, unlike most, I didn't have the best results. I had a gap in my front teeth, and that just made it wider. After five years of braces, my gap now is twice as big as it was before.

lol she had herbst appliance, it’s the bars you see near the inside of her cheeks. They are two bars that slide into one another & they were stuck trying to come apart. I had one and it would F R E A K me out at first. She will have a beautiful smile.
It is a pallet expander to spread your pallet and put a gap between your teeth before they put the wire in for braces and pull the teeth together. has to be done before your pallet fuses together.
Aspen worst went in there for tooth to be pulled have us a15000.00 quote to do list of things. not what I asked for. walked right out

I went to Aspen dental one time, thats all it took. worst place ever. they also bill you wrong and lied when the orlado stores closed, they took the money and said people owed all kinds of money that they really didn't owe.
