I got a 2001 Ford super duty 7.3 diesel 20,000 is nothing and that's all that semiways. it's on a tandem trailer it's got duals under the truck what's your problem
When you've gotta get it done.. What if doent matter.
The real problem is that trailer weight by far outweighs the truck pulling it. That means when he stops and especially on wet roads, the trailer weight will continue to push the truck through red light, down hills, or any kind of emergency stopping. 馃槻
you need a class A to drive it
that truck weighs less than 18k and if his pickup truck can handle the weight no problem
That鈥檚 what D O T would have a field day with here in Florida
what the problem is here, judging by people's "I can tow blah blah", is every vehicle has a tag on the door that gives a GVRW number. This is what your truck/ vehicle can weight with all extra load included. The narrator is right, when he's pulled over by DOT he's screwed. Doesn't matter what your vehicle is capable of towing as far at DOT is concerned it's total weight...... not exceeding GVRW
Really Love to see what his stopping distance is
It's working though.
that truck is going to last for like a few weeks with hauling a semi around and then sooner or later the engine will blow up but nothing too big just fix the engine and if it blows up again fix it if it blows it again fix it but if it blows up again junk it
if it fits, it ships 馃ぃ
Truck only weighs about 14k and lots of pull behind toy haulers top that.
Not a floating axles ! Flange breaks off & a big wreck
evap alright they will have a feald day with him
That is on a gooseneck. I've pulled this much with my 2500 ram and nearly forgot what was back there. As long as the brakes on the trailer are good, there's no problem. Farmers haul more regularly.
wow
Damnnnnnnnn 馃槼馃槼馃槼馃槼馃槼馃槼馃槀馃槀
sounds like someone is jealous
馃檧 Can you say DOT. 馃お
good driver is the key
He鈥檚 pushing the GVCW. You gotta factor the weight of the trailer as well. I think he鈥檚 overloaded on his rear axle though, with a rear hitch setup. I would鈥檝e, at least, backed the truck up on the trailer to get most of the weight above the trailer tandems.
not 22k. More like 17k. I haul semis all the time with my F350. You might wanna fact check before running your mouth.
They should use this for commercial on tv heavy duty truck
Weight is just a suggestion. My 2001 GMC 2500hd 4x4 recently pulled a 60,000 pound semi full of hay out of the mud. I wasn鈥檛 hauling that weight but pulling it out of the mud stuck to the axels was-a feat I didn鈥檛 think it would do. Before some one slams me we had a week of rain, normally they would come in when the ground was frozen and down the center of the road new driver thought the side was a better choice. We have a small co-op and customers waiting on the hay. Hungry animals.
Looks like the truck 馃殯 recording is going to be on that trailer next馃槀 the check engine light is on buddy. Probably running it low on oil. None of the hydraulic parts are working efficiently.
Yea DOT gonna like that!!!!
18 K
looks like its doing fine to me
just plain stupid
if he transported the load where it had to go with no accident or brake downs ,I think it worked just fine. almost like it never was a problem馃憤
well a commenter on here claimed the truck and trailer were not dual tired but look again. Both are duallies and the trailer is a fifth wheel and it does have it's own brakes and it is designed for that weight. The real question is the driver's qualifications. Also you might be supprised at the real weight of the big truck. Some do weigh less than you think.
Does this mean when a weigh station comes up is he allowed to pass it ? The sign always say all trucks must exit, but that doesn鈥檛 include regular trucks does it.
Wrong type of trailer for that, and the little pickup truck is not rated for that heavy load. You can do many things differently but it doesn鈥檛 mean that you are doing it safely
git 'er done. no matter what.
probably closer to 16k my 379 pete with headache rack 16 chains and binders 20 straps fully loaded for work only weighed 20k
That's what my dad always said you ain't got to worry about how fast you pull it you got to worry about how fast you can stop it and slow it down when you need to
It can pull it, but any major inertial changes and it won't be pretty!
Very dangerous and irresponsible. To me it seems like somebody has an ego issue and thinks they have something to prove. That is clearly exceeding the limits of his vehicle. Total disregard of other motorist on the highway.
Narrator is a IDIOT He Don鈥檛 Know Nothing about Nothing
5 ton is all the weight of the semi . the trailer is rated for way more and the truck is most likely a 3/4 ton maybe a one ton . its perfectly safe and leagel
this would completely demolish your suspension if you drove a Dodge or Chevy, you wouldn't have any leaf springs left. I'm sorry people but Ford stands by their saying built Ford tough
Now that's a rolling DOT wet dream!! Pulling it isn't the problem. STOPPING IT WOULD BE!!
That鈥檚 not a dusky. You can see there is to much weight on that back end of pickup
I know what a class A vehicle is but what is a class 8?
Power my ass, momentum to move, won鈥檛 be easy to stop
Seriously, is that legal????
That's f'n crazy and so damn dumb馃槅
I'd say he got pulled over
I've hauled 26000 with a F350, no problem
That's Certain Death.
dot has nothing to do with this if it's private
