so now what about the giant holes the "puller" just put in the top??
why he doing shitwork really?you need to redo it with a new plate on it ,completely sorry ass Excuse for that work ,I would not buy that house at all .
A regular C clamp on the vertical 2x4's would be easier and not damage the horizontal top plates.
seems like a bunch of you haven't bought any 2x4's in bulk lately. have you seen how straight they are?? most of those boards bought in bulk are crooked as hell
That’s why you put a top plate on it. You don’t need to do that. #WastedStep
nice work!! Just a suggestion but have you tried a block on either side so you can get the ratchet up off your plate and to prevent damage to your top plate...I would use screws to attach the block so it would make easy removal.
That’s an awesome tool .
Your probably pulling it out of plumb lol
so they do have wood stretchers? 😆 🤣 😂
c clap?
Not good to lock in all that stress.
why destroy the wood to join it ? I'm thinking pilot holes and screws can fix that. 🤔
ayyyy a board stretcher!!! they really do exist lol 🤣🤣🤣
Dang,now I want one
like dat
All I see is you Just weakening the strength of those 2x4 big time.
Bro... Not only could you do your job with more care, precisely measuring and cutting properly... You could use a $19.⁹⁵ QuickGrip Clamp, or Some Finger clamps to close the Gap..
I've never seen one of these and I've worked on a lot of houses. Not framing, but I thought I was familiar with most of the tools onsight.
you also just added structure damage to those pieces by creating holes from that device
Or you could frame one stud, slightly short and put a frickin' c clamp on it
Wish i had that tool 45 years ago when i was framing 👍
pulled the beams on each side apart 😂
you'll be feeling great about 60 years old
That is the OG Board stretcher they Send Every New Guy After!!! Finally Someone Found it💯🔥
We can tell some of these people in these comments have never swung a hammer in their life
You wouldn't need that tool if the job is being done correctly why would anyone think this is okay
hard to find good lumber unless you are removing it from an old home that was built with old growth
😂"C" clap and it fits better in a tool box much cheaper😳
just pull them tight with your hand wtf
only one top plate
you know if you nail those end studs in about an eighth inch you can get the top plate to stay together then you just tap them together
I just use a C clamp if it’s even necessary.
I can do that with a nail
Board stretcher
Hourly 🤦
seems like if you cut right you wouldn't have to do that
completely unnecessary
no wonder they crack after a year😆
So what? Do you want a diploma
it's funny the shiy that you don't see when they are building it is so funny do you guys really think that was the worst thing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
yeah...a screw would have done the same without your lousy tool...that and measuring and leveling correctly the first time...smh..
I don’t understand why we’re still using wood. I built everything with steel or concrete for the past 20 years
SheIT!! Me and another mescan would've had that straight the first time,,,
I like the way you work, really professional. keep it up 💯
wouldn't let that guy build a dog house !! idiot !
nick Shirley out here doing side quests
Where can I get one of those pullers?
is this rage bait, it has to be
tha fuckin board stretcher😭
preety slick
