Most new cars dont allow the car to lock if the FOB is still in the car anyway….
It looks like they are at their own house but what if you are stranded in the middle of nowhere and you don't have anything like that such as a hanger, ductape a little block of wood then what? Oh and also your phone is dead with no charger to charge your phone and if you do it's locked in the car to which you can't get in to even retrieve it to call a tow truck.

you know driving a wedge in a door I don't know about that. but you can get a hold of the edge of the window pull it out with your fingers use your fingers for the wedge and then you need a piece of wire usually don't break the glass that way unless you pull too hard
