I'm sure the gears and motor of the window regulator, must've loved this. Let me break in, and save a couple of hundred on a locksmith. But have to pay a thousand, at the dealership to have the window mechanism replaced. 🙄
That will not work in my Tacoma! In 2001 with power door locks you either start the switch to get out or use a key to get in! After 5 minutes door mechanism is deactivated!
They make inflatable wedges for just this reason! 😆

doing that can cost u more than getting a key fob made at the dealership or at the very least, calling a locksmith...you can break the window gear mechanism, warp the track which in turn will ruin the seal of your window...be smarter than what is displayed

Another solution? Keep an old fashioned BP cuff around. When you need it, slide it half-way down in the window, then start inflating it. That will also open a slot between the windows wide enough to run a coat hanger inside to flip the latch. 🙏🏼
