This is a super old event. Apparently the artist, Britton, disrespected the workers and owner of a restaurant. The owner bought a piece and did that to send a message to him.

Good for that restaurant. I was buying a piece from a well known local artist that was mocking me with friends. I took my card back at the last moment showed my bank statement then said dont judge fool. He was saying she cant afford my art. Well turns out his show was a bust after that.
