As a professional driver myself I immediately saw the problem. while many see nothing wrong with the driver continuing on. However the rules are different for professional drivers. the person had entered the cross walk ( marked or not). despite the person waving the driver on, the driver is obligated to let the person pass first safely.

The failure here is for the person who put this video up here to come in and explain instead of everybody going at each other for an explanation. The driver did come to a stop for a split second and then continue on but you know that person said something to whoever this is be a kid or not. It’s hard to confirm. This person that’s walking was clearly not walking through they were stopped, and when he came up, they backed up even more
He should have been charged in criminal court, as well.
