I work construction hell yea he could have used that way faster than marking each place where studs go whats the problem
this isn't a cheat, or something to make you dependant.if you know how to use a tape measure you won't forget. but this tool makes the mistake, impossible. if it's a long wall and you off by a quarter inch, after 18 studs, how much will the last one be off? With this tool it's a guarantee it's perfect every single time. should be mandatory

cuz your studs are laid out for you in black on your tape measure all you have to do is pull it across the whole top plate and bottom plate and Mark it out with the crows foot
