this happend to me once years ago on a ford expedition i had and yes the lug nuts were off, we tried everything, hammers, sledge hammers, even had a 4"x4" across the underside of the truck banging on that, it was totally horrible, it ended up finally my buddy brought his acetylene torch over and heated it up by the hub, the hub and the wheel were meshed together and rusted, we finally got it apart and from all the banging i had to replace the CV Joints as well, it was a nightmare, tools hammers everywhere. after it was all said and done, i had my gas guzzing baby back in action👍
