People need to stop repeating themselves. Call the police. “I’m gonna call the police” does nothing.

It seems like he's trying to get the homeowner to open the door. I'd tell him once to get off my property or I'd call the police. Then I'd call the police and tell them exactly what was happening what he looks like, all of it.
Trespassing is not a capital offense, You can’t just come outside and shoot people because they’re standing on your porch, you can end up in prison for doing that and as long as you are inside, you do have some protection. He needs to call the police because that guy looks like he’s not all there in the first place.
I would have just picked up the phone and dialed 911. I wouldn't have been asking any questions just let the cops deal with it.

I live in an apartment building, I have a little dog and very seldom barks, she started barking and ran towards the door. There was a guy standing in the hallway. I asked him what the hell are you doing in here? He said the door was unlocked so “I can”come in. you need to knock and I will let you in. He told me if the door is unlocked that means “I”can come in., he finally left
