if you called the police and then held them there, possibly with a weapon. Would that get the homeowner in trouble. Asking if there are any police or lawyers here that can answer. Not interested in any jailhouse lawyer or know it all answers, really want the truth. I guess the real answer is to try and identify them or get a license plate and show the police the video and let them take it from there, but we all know, nothing will probably ever happen to the thief!
