We were on a motorcycle ride one day when a dog ran out in front of us, we had to slow down to miss it, 2 miles up the road we had to stop because of a rear end collision the cars were still moving as we approached. If that dog hadn't slowed us down we would have been in that accident. Thank god and that dog.

We experienced something similar except the whole Bridge was washed away. It was getting dark and we didn’t see it in time so we went over the edge into the dry river bed. We all survived but ended up in a Turkish hospital before getting transported to the American hospital. Happened on St Patrick’s Day 1963 and I still get nervous when I can’t see the road ahead. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
