Interesting what happens when the other country isn't interested in being nice. Right now most of the Caribbean is ready to defend themselves after Venezuela because. Other Island's have been either harrassed by the US most have no reason to work them, and many of their civilian boats have been attacked. So hopefully Congress agreed to this because the walk back is gonna be brutal.

The U.S.by the dictates of the Monroe doctrine can intervene or invade any Nation in the Western Hemesphere in its interest if it chooses. The boat that was attacked near Cuba may have been an undercover spy vessel.
