Center for American Progress! It seems to me reestablishing independence from government social programs would be progress. 25% of Americans are dependent on federal welfare programs for their existence. Expanding those programs only creates more government dependency. That doesn’t sound like progress to me, unless of course, the objective is to create as much dependency on the federal government as possible.
How about doing away with all the mandates. Let the insurance companies compete for peoples money. Competition almost always makes the playing field cost effective for the consumer.
