I'm not depending on any of these felon Senators and felon President to feed me. I'm planting buckets full of plants already in my house and going to buy from local farms and the Amish in Shaftsbury VT for my jams, meat, and butter. All my plants come from Amish farmers so I know they will produce.

He’s the reason that food stamps came to an end. So the government shuts down and all of a sudden there’s no funding for snap? Why? Where did it go? It was there before the government shut down so where did it go? And the last thing I am is racist, but why did they have to interview a woman of color to talk about the snap benefits affecting her and her five children. That just puts in so many people’s minds the wrong idea. God bless her and her kids. I also get snap and feed myself and my grandchildren, which are here four out of seven days a week while their parents work. And I just do not understand where this money went.

why does the president not just go ahead and tell everyone that we are going to fund the snap program and the other essential things that Americans need to servive and quit messing around,, this shutdown is hurting Americans not helping them,, we should come up with a way that everyone can do something that helps everyone and share all resources with each other,, and stop worrying about money and who's got what,, as long as you have food utilities and a roof over your head,, but we are so dependent on money that I don't think it will ever happen,, people are too greedy, and it's a shame

Coming from someone that has worked all her life and now Is on assistant this is not about republicans or democrats this is about the people . I do agree with most people get to comfortable on this funds and just sit at home collecting while the working people are not able to apply even though they also struggle with with food because more money higher bill but the government don’t see that . I decided when having my last child to further my education and apply for assistant as I want to school, but this is only temporary. It’s just a little push out the door. I said it and I say it again there’s a lot of people that settle for less and they’re OK with the $300 every two weeks plus the two $300 of food stamp and never think about what if. I do agree that everyone in assistant should be doing something I work such program enrollment and all these free classes. They’re giving in roll in college. Take your GED do something for your life.
