Of course I did research on this (being naturally skeptical). The truth is that had the Democrats gotten their wish, it would have increased the national debt by over 350 Billion dollars. It still would have been the largest government reopening proposals in US history. This number is the cost through 2035, presuming only actual citizens receive it. I am not saying that Mr Kennedy is lying, but he did not say how long it would take to get to that number. Sources are: Duck Duck Go AI, FactCheck, and Snopes. Please verify what I wrote. 💕
