Well well looks like speaker of the house Mike Johnson was lying! He said SNAP benefits couldn't be done without the Democrats voting to reopen the government. See how Republicans lie! Republicans want the Dems to vote to reopen the government WITHOUT the ACA extensions. This would skyrocket healthcare to over 22 million Americans. Republican's don't care your healthcare increases and they don't care if you can't eat! Fun fact: In 2019 the last time Trump shut the government down, SNAP benefits still went out. They hope their supports are too stupid to remember that.

Trump welcomes this court ruling to get folks fed. He knows that if he did this unilaterally, then a court would have told him he couldn't. So he played them like a fiddle. Folks get their food and Trump didn't have to fight. Meanwhile, Dems still playing games until after the elections on Tuesday.

some of a lot of snap recipients need to stop having kids if they can't feed them I blame the parents not the children. I don't like the fact that people who can work or positively can contribute are not and taking food benefits from those who really need it. I think freeloading is like stealing and like stealing freeloading should be a crime cause it's dishonest and it deprives others.
Starting November 1, 2025, Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWDs) aged 18–64 must document 80 hours/month of work, education, or volunteering to maintain SNAP benefits.
MAYBE, just a thought tho, maybe theyre not funding snap because they need these funds to feed people when war breaks out on American soil
