Trump is pissed off because he found out that he can’t hold the funding back for SNAP. The House has never shutdown during a filibuster before. You are refusing to do your job, every Republican Representative should either do their job, or have their salaries sent to help pay the military.

Jeezus .....does anyone really believe that starving the poorest of American people for leverage is acceptable by either party? We all know ACA and SNAP and Social Security has to be re-evaluated and those who are able to work need to go to work. This process will take the better part of a decade.....just about how long it would take to identify and vett every illegal migrant that is presently in the US. Both of these efforts need to be enacted immediately if we are going to appease both sides. Legitimate recipients of benefits should receive them. Illegals who came in only to work should be investigated and, if cleared, allowed to remain in the US. The left gets to keep the insurance and food and cash benefits AND the illegals they so desperately need while the right gets to remove all persons fraudulently benefitting from our programs and remove any illegals with questionable backgrounds.
If the Democrats give in to you then these same people that are affected by the snap benefits will lose insurance and insurance will triple. How do you sleep at night Mike Johnson smiling and making a joke out of this.
