It is about racism. A racist law was put in place to try to give minorities a bigger voice. What it did was redistricted to accommodate those minority groups. If the population only has 12 percent black, as an example, and redistricting makes 3 seats out of 12 black that would be advantageous to the black community. More representation with lower percentage of population, but directly attacks all other groups. Equality needs to mean equality. You are human, I am human, we are the human race not colors and races.
