The operative word is Americans! Why would the true American citizens not support the enforcement of the true constitution and laws of our country? I’m not sure how those percentages were calculated, but I support ICE’s actions. If the public avoids interfering with federal officers and protests peacefully, enforcement operations can proceed safely. Clear laws exist, and violations should result in appropriate legal consequences. ICE plays a critical role in public safety, and agents regularly face dangerous situations while carrying out their duties. For these reasons, I disagree with the claim that most Americans oppose ICE’s handling of this situation; from what I have seen, that view is primarily held by far left critics.
