I’m American of mexican descent. I worked many years in a business that operated jukeboxes amongst other machines. We had our machines in many Mexican owned bars and restaurants. I never learned Spanish growing up for reasons beyond my control. When trying to communicate with the Spanish speaking business owners, they would get mad at me for not speaking Spanish. I finally had enough one day and told a lady, hey, we’re in America, you’re the one that should be speaking our language, not get mad at me for not speaking yours!… we had to be careful not to get our customers mad but I finally had enough and spoke truth… a lot of them want all the benefits of being here but don’t want to assimilate

The Media is not helpful at all. They mention sometimes that ICE is serving a warrant to arrest, but when others interfere with that warrant, they break the law. If protesters threaten to KILL police, they break the law. If nothing more, these officers have Civil Rights and the right of self protection. Media shows a video of people fighting cops, but never mention why the cops are there to begin with, leaving the ASSUMPTION that the raids are racially motivated, which is not the truth. Therefore, the media is lying!

Ice lies, check it out they picked up someone in Palm Desert who walked out of his home going to work. Ice appeared stopped and asked was that his house? what was he doing? of coarse he said going to work, then he was asked for his real ID license he said it's in his home and said he would retrieve it and was told no. He showed his CA drivers license and was told he was going to be arrested by ICE, and was told he only had a couple of days for someone to come in with his Real ID, OR he would be deported. He asked where to since he is an AMERICAN. He was told that was his problem. So it is very obvious that anyone with brown skin is at risk, imagine while leaving for work.
