Why is he not speaking on white Americans and their issues? Why is it so important for him to focus on black people? Black people want to be left alone with equality, peace and harmony. Was that ever given to black people w/o interference of them?
If you listen to him he’s talking about statistics. He’s not saying slavery was good. If you listen to the whole conversation he’s talking about how many families then versus now who have no father figures in there families. I do not hear him saying better off in slavery. Did you leave that clip out or did he not say that. 1940 they were not in slavery. Slavery ended 75 years before that. Honest mistake or intentional bating? His words need more explanation for sure or more complete clip. He seems to say in 1940s they were morally better. Raising children it two parent homes. Less crime. We can list things that were bad, restricted from education, violence towards the black community, less job opportunities and no equal justice. The probably more. I think her explanation for less crime is fear is suggesting that if they were not afraid they would have committed more crime. I do not believe that.
