The dad smoked this guy because he was breaking into the house to get at his daughter. In the whole video, the dad was really upset that he had to shoot the guy, but there's no way he could allow him in. He had previously harassed his daughter over voice mail and text messages.
Took awhile, and in spite of his slow nature, James FINALLY got the message...
He messed around and found out
Thankfully, they had the video to backup what happened!
they had to get a restraining order on this kid and he came back. proof that a TRO does NOTHING to protect people.
👍 dad did an amazing job on shooting that boy . he was protecting his family and his home . that boy got what he deserved. breaking and entering when he was told that the daughter said that she didn't want to talk to him anymore then he decided to try to break in the house . the father shot him in self defense props to dad

When someone tells you they have a gun and you're trying to break in, well, you get what you got. This guy hadn't been in communication with the daughter for several years. He had just called her out of the blue. Guess he was unhinged, and it cost him his life.
Sad. It can be expensive to fix bullet holes in a door.

Once he started trying to bust that door in, He ended his life, the father told him no, get off my porch. He gave more than enough warning to stop his intent and vacate his premises. He clearly earned this response

I was referring to the standard of stand your ground in Florida, in a lot of states they have to be inside the door before you can use deadly force. I don’t condone the man trying to get in but shooting through the door is different.
