why is he frustrated? I'm not a mechanic or know about cars so here's the question, after it drain, doesn't he just have to fill it up with oil and that's it? or he needs to take it apart for any reason?
pure as the driven snow 😆
When a car overheats but people keep driving it instead of stopping and letting it cool down, the engine head bent or becomes warped or damaged head gasket allowing the coolant to mix with the engine oil and it's all downhill from there.
He must’ve accidentally open where the oil goes and put water or antifreeze in. My ex-husband that went and got a 5 gallon jug of water and he also had gas for the tractor in the back truck. He was 5 miles from home and it was nighttime. He went to back of truck and grab the 5 gallon jug of water into the gas tank.
blown head gasket or cracked block
😆😆He suddenly realized how much it was going to cost to fix that
Staged🥰😆. It would have been milky and chunky if it had actually been running in that condition
Blown Engine! had the same thing happen to me on a 2003 cavalier 😆 it sucks soooo bad
but I think some of the coolant in the oil because when the coolant on a head gasket goes it makes the oil milky looking not clear White
That’s not engine oil. It looks like water but could be something stupid-Like coconut oil
yall don't know who this guy is? live under a rock? Matt Parker a mobile mechanic who helps people out in Tulsa Ok
Set up video if it was gasket it would be millet oil that is pooling water in cold oil it just separated oil on top water on bottoms
Old. addage, "oil and water don't mix."
It should have been cloudy not clear if they mixed together for any amount of time!
time for a new car I don't think the engine appreciated the new lubricant the thing is why were you
Obviously a setup. Who video tapes this?
That isn't coolant. That's just water.
That looked like straight water! He says he sees where all that coolant went…tell us, cause it sure wasn’t in that water!
hes got a blown head gasket and coolant is leaking into the engine which will blow a pushrod
looks like it's winter, I'd say they had added straight water to the radiator and it froze and cracked the block.
Oil change turned into a 2 day job..
I can just watch this over and over. I wonder if the engine seized up
Who sets up a cam for an oil change,
that how you do it
What kind of oil they put in there Deer Park
something is wrong here.. 1 that was not coolant as coolant is not clear…
you commenteers are funny 😆
Im thinking blown bread gasket?
I’m not a mechanic but when that clear liquid came out, I knew something was wrong. I got under my car with my friend when he did my oil change and it wasn’t clear I tell you that much.
Head gasket
Heeeeeey, is water suppose to be in there with the oil? 🤭🤭🤭😂😂😂
A blown head gasket replacement typically costs between $1,000 and $4,000, depending on the vehicle's make and model, and the complexity of the engine. Labor costs can account for a significant portion of this expense.
blown head gasket or cracked block
🥺🥺🥺😳😳
that was staged water 👍 coolants colored, always!
yeah. that happened to my car. My brother borrowed my car once, ONCE my gf and I had 2 cars so I let him have it for a couple months, on one condition. He changed the oil....then on his way to my house 3 weeks later the engine blew up... that was why
needs a flux capacitor 😆
Canola oil is NOT a substitute for motor oil.
how did he know to be on camera?
To the rookie car owners in the comments and for future commentary: This happens when a car overheats and warps the cylinder head, which is 1 main part to the intake manifold assembly(not good) or blows the head gasket, which is the seal needed to transfer coolant thru the manifolds jacket to keep the engine cool(repairable, but still costly and laborious). He said thats where the coolant went. Which means the owner drove the car while it was overheating, to the point where he probably heard knocking. This means the coolant was released from its jacket, into the camshaft, lifters, and arms down into the pistons and exhaust manifolds(if you see blue smoke out your exhaust, that means oil is being mixed with the gas😬). Coolant drains all the way down into the oil pan. Driving with low oil or overused oil can overheat a vehicle too. Simple routine maintenance will prevent this from happening.
OMG how does something like this happen really... 😜😜
someone put coolant in the oil pan
For all the ones saying blown gasket and coolant mixing with oil… 1. I have NEVER in my life seen clear antifreeze and 2. Since water and oil don’t mix, looks likely that they put water in the oil fill. Oil floats to the top so water comes out first followed by oil. Potential damage? Yes. Dumb? Again yes. Avoidable? Maybe
The despair. Is hurtful….
🤔😲🤔 somebody used wrong fluid
😁😁😁😁😁😁
I think they used cooking oil lol
They needs? Hill Billy talk
literally just happened to our car. blown head gasket. ugh......
😂😂 his face (oh no)
I would've lost it
This happened to my friend car, he cried. And even though it was fun working on it, It was a bitch
“Can you fix that too”
I'm almost certain who ever car this is filled the oil with gasoline
😂😂 the look on his face
is that cooking oil😭
Matt’s a good guy though
Is no one gonna point out that if te vehicle had been driven with water in it, that when the water drained the oil that followed it would have been milky not black...
