The incident involved him forcefully slamming a handcuffed DUI suspect, Shanna McRee, to the ground during a breathalyzer test booking. McRee sustained a head injury requiring seven stitches and was left with a visible scar approximately 1.5 inches long.    •Sentence (July 29, 2025): Cannon received a 6-month jail sentence, with 11 days credited for time already served. He was also given 2 years of probation.   •Additional Consequences: •He must surrender his law enforcement certification. •He is barred from owning, purchasing, or possessing firearms.   •Resignation: Cannon tendered his resignation from the force following the incident.  •Judicial Note: During sentencing, Judge Kathryn Weston emphasized that Cannon was not receiving any special treatment due to his status as a police officer, despite his PTSD diagnosis and seven years of prior service.

I just saw this same crime committed in a very similar incident, the assault was to a young black man of course! The assaulted “teenager” was grabbed by his hair, violently slammed to the ground, punched in his face, held down by two other pigs, the comments for these two incidents are completely different, for the young man the comments are blaming him of course because what he said even though there is no sound, for the lady the comments ask for the cops head, and call for him to get a lengthy sentence!!

I believe that before you can become a police officer they will need to pass a syc evaluation. plus a moral test .
It’s typical for cops to rough up people they arrest but it’s usually done in the intake area where there are no cameras. Usually it’s in the area between the jail prisoner intake entrance and the cop car parking area. Cops love love love to exact some of their own punishment. There are too many cops who do this. It’s not a secret but as long as it keeps happening, nobody is going to trust cops and municipalities are going to keep settling lawsuits every time a cop gets caught.

well I was recording them and they threatened to lock me up. I stopped them the other day,this guy was harassing me . They drove off. They harass people that want to sue them as well. I also have permanent marks from excessive force . Can't call them for help. They are like bullies. They don't deescalate situations. Some are very nice professional public servants .
