I've done this once... speeding and a cop saw and turned around.. I was able to pull up into my drive, turn the car off, got inside my house locked the doors... three cops pulled up and were knocking ony door for about 20 to 30 mins. I never answered the door... they left. never heard anything from it. this was years ago don't open the door... problem solved.
