I'm 99% sure she was arrested at the station, not bc I know the story thru research but I know that's a nation wide police line "we'd like for you to come down to the station so we can get a formal statement, just to talk". they use this to keep you as calm as possible and to basically turn yourself in without them breaking a sweat
