It's a major trend for these cops to not know what they're talking about, or anything about the law and the Constitution to which they swore an oath to protect, uphold and enforce. If the day ever comes, when officers will be held accountable for their actions, including their stupidity, while on the job and not have qualified immunity to hide behind, you can bet that the police departments all across this nation, including the sheriff's department's constable service state police and every other uniformed police service is going to be reduced by a tremendous margin maybe as high as 50%. Because roughly half of those on the job don't know what the hell they are doing. This is the problem when you give autonomy and "get out of jail free card (Qualified Immunity)" to a bunch of mindless morons. They may be well versed in the penal codes of their department, but when it comes to constitutional law, they're completely lost! That is a very big problem because a law enforcement officer who doesn't know the Constitution makes them a threat to public safety!!! Which is already a proven fact on a daily basis!!!
