bought a house. wanted a privacy fence. had the survey, permit, everything needed. next door neighbor was furious because now his dogs would have to poop in his yard. since then, he has planted lots of stuff against the fence. he forgot, 2 ft on his side of the fence is mine! next spring, I am giving him a 2 week notice that the plant life will get cut down so the fence can be stained. he planted flowering shrubs and a tree that are encroaching on the fence line and starting to push against the fence. I expect some "trouble" from him.

I put a fence up I knew it was in the neighbor's yard I went and talked to that neighbor and she said okay no problem. then a new neighbor moved in and they started telling me you know your friends is on my property and I said okay yeah I know. and they said do you want to talk about doing something about that and I said no. you let me know if you want to do something about it. it's that person ever comes to me and says your fence is on my property I'm going to say no possession is 9/10 of the law it's your fence! the fence thing with neighbors is so bewildering to me
