okay, honestly, I take a bag from the roll and take out of a fruit bag how much I want and put it in a bag from the roll. a whole bag like that rots too fast.
Stores trick people all the time. The sign says $3.99 , you think is for the bag but not. At the register it’s $20+! Most of us never finish the bag. So why not just take what you going to consume. I do it all the time . They fool me once ONLY.

if you don't want that many cherries just use a regular plastic bag. They provide the green produce bags to put fruit in. I do that all the time. At checkout they just look up the product price when weighing.

Actually there is nothing wrong with what she is doing. Cherrys are sold by the pound and she is only distributing the weight by other bags so she is only paying for the amount and pounds she can use. 🥰

People don’t want to buy so much. Produce isn’t very fresh anymore and goes bad while costing a lot. You touch all the other fresh produce with your hands anyway.
I also only take what I need. I don't understand why the stores don't provide smaller portions. not every household needs the large quantity in those bags. we're charged by the pound, not the bag. Before I realized you could get the smaller portions, I would dehydrate some of my fruits before letting them go bad. I dehydrate veggies, too. I put in either a blender or food processor to make into powder to be added to drinks or meals.
I do that sometimes especially if I don’t want or need a large amt, it’s still weighted up by the pound, but I never eat any fruit or vegetables without washing it!!
I do it all the time. A full bag is over $3 per pound. It weighs about 4 pounds.$12 for a bag of cherries 🤔. Nope I only need about a pound 👍.!!.

This is why I don't purchase open bags of fruits such as grapes, strawberries, cherries, etc., because that is so unsanitary. Who knows where her hands have been!?

Me, I don't do it like that.I get another plastic bag that the ones you put your vegetables or fruit in.I just put a little bit of cherries like that.And they weigh it, that's all I do.I don't put more in other bags.It's gonna weigh more when other people do buy it
when I first on my own would go on certain day. man with three toddlers in produce section each have their own little bag of whatever fruit. he would weigh bag price bag. would eat the fruit while he shopped. the empty bags added to total. manager says he three kids under the age of three he had a set of twins and then two and a half year old . he pays us. at first I thought it was odd but you know what if it keeps the kids quiet. the manager says the couple had been shopping here before they had the kids , so they've been customers of mine for about 7 years good customers so I'm not really worried and the kids are very honest that they all hand the bags over individually so in essence they're learning how to be honest.🤔😲😆
I’m NEVER buying cherries again🤦🏾♀️ hands all over them to put in others bags. Yeah yeah wash off like we’re supposed to anyway but dang…. I would’ve just grabbed one of the white produce bags and poured what I wanted in there. They are weighed in at the check out counter regardless.
