When I buy gas, I put it directly in the tank instead of using 8-gallon cans.

I personally place all cold and frozen food through first and pack them together. When I get home I immediately put them away. Everything else can wait until I decide to put them away. Just my opinion, it saves time.

I wish local stores would do this! I wheel the cart to car and pack groceries the way I want without pressure of someone behind me in line! Also, I usually forget to take my bags inside and get dinged $.05 for each of theirs!
I pack my own groceries while I check out. doesn't matter what store I'm in. except for Sam's, where they keep moving the extra boxes!
carts used to be at the level of the counter, but I think they're lower.

That's how it's done in Germany ,you are responsible for your groceries after they are scanned. Here in the U.S it's Aldi & Lidl and this clip is at Lidl.
