Walmart is starting its first phase of exiting the US by removing the self checkouts.
that's when I just walk away from my cart I've done it at Christmas times a few times well when Walmart opened up their slogan was you'll never have to wait in line. yeah they threw that out the freaking window

It's called paying people crap to work in retail so no one wants those jobs..I worked at a TJMaxx, I loved my co workers and the customers, buuuuut we were expected to ask every single customer if they wanted to open a credit card account, the interest is over 30%! We got nothing for getting those new credit card customers.,ooops sorry we got food, freaking pizzas, who wants that, how do you pay your bills with pizza..my sis looked it up the CEOs of TJMaxx Corp make THREE HUNDRED % MORE MONEY than the employees, uh how is that fair? And too funny no commissions there at all, I worked in jewelry, I asked a man if he wanted to ring up his purchaee there or I could put it up front and he could continue shopping he said "I want to pay here so you get your commission." Haha no commision! crap pay for hard work!

The stereotypes that shop at Walmart are the people that steal and survive off ebt. This is the only way they can prevent the excessive stealing since self check out started
I would NEVER stand in a line this long.... I would trot myself to the gardening area cashier or any other area in the store with a check out area.... I do this nearly every time I shop at Walmart and it surprises me that so few others do this as well.😆😆😆
unfortunately there's not a lot of choices in some areas
I avoid all this nonsense by having them deliver to my door. I dont over spend by impulse buying. I pay one time yearly fee. my time is worth money. the time and money I save is worth the small yearly fee.

I don't shop at Walmart because I don't work there and I'm not checking myself out and also their checkout is a risk because they'll blame me of stealing and press charges against you even when you're not stealing they did that to my daughter-in-law sick man I haven't been to Walmart since 2014 when they upset me I told him I never come back and I made it same thing with target when they letting men on the women's restrooms, I'm not having my daughters or children go in the ladies room and a man goes in there, not gonna do it
this is why people abandon carts full of food, in the middle of the store.

Don’t shop Walmart mart but the very few times I had to is chaotic. It was for only one product but don’t need that stuff anymore. I have seen people walk out with not paying or scanning only 1 in 3 items . That in just the few times I’ve been there. People eating the fruits, the cookies and what ever else they can get for free and not an employee in sight.

they are standing behind some old lady checking out the day old bread . sometimes you think it's the line . we saw it on i-80 . some semi on the shoulder and about a quarter mile of cars lined up behind him way ahead of the off ramp hilarious

Looks like the Walmart Employees Forgot how to use the Cash Register. That's what happens when Walmart tries to save tons of money, by forcing their shoppers to use the self checkout. But they all freak out, when they all stop working & employees now have to do some real work, haha
For all those complaining about wait times, why not go early when they open. I go on Sundays and I'm in and out no wait.
