This video clip is located over Lake kechelus in Washington state. The pilot was setting up for a right turn to fly up Gold creek and go over the box canyon. This is a flight pattern that has been used for pilot training. I would see this back in 1976 when I worked around this lake. There is no landing strip within 20 miles of this video. The pilot would have made a left turn flying over where this video was made to go to the Bandera airstrip.
