lol, what a joke. split firewood all my life and these contraptions are no where near as efficient or effective as a maul or a double but axe. he is doing more physical work man handling the block not to mention he has to lift it up there. on the ground just stand it up on end. my dad and I competed with guys that had come up with a hydraulic splitter. $ 20.00, I stood up the blocks and or set up pieces to be split again, Dad with a double bit axe smoked them.
