on the newer cars from around $2,000 on somebody thought it was smart to use something like soy to make the outside of your wires so that's a food base in the mice rats love to chew on it. but if you have a older car they don't bother at all because it's actually petroleum base plastic

Pest control technician here, rats can jump 3 to four feet, they can chew through Sheetrock, wood and stucco and file their teeth on concrete to keep their teeth from growing to long. They chew wires because the wires have soy in them and they can smell it. FYI 🫡

My ex lives here in Missouri and the squirrels go up and ate the wires under his jeep. He had a heart attack and the car sat for awhile. Well it had to go in the shop to have repair job done. Will that work for squirrels too. I'm thinking it will. He lives out in a woodsy area. What ya all think?

Guys need to get some weasels or ferrets let them go in the area. They’ll kill all the rats. It’s in their nature that’s what they do.

avator

thats because they use a soybean base in making the wire skin

I lived in the high desert in California (middle of nowhere) the mice got in my dashboard and chewed through the wires. I was driving down the road and my dashboard caught fire. Very scary, having flames between you and the windshield.
