As a female over the road driver, I would always lock my seatbelts through the door handle, so nobody was getting in and before everybody comes for me, I could quickly release it from the inside if I needed to get out

Okay why not get the longer strap? Attach it on the inside, by door handle. So they cannot cut or burn it off….

There is no federal Department of Transportation (DOT) or FMCSA regulation that specifically prohibits a commercial driver from possessing a firearm in their truck or on their person. I'd say lock both doors, cuz I'm not sure what this does!!!

1. You’d have to leave the door unlocked for them to open it for this to have any relevance. 2. If they smash the window it’s irrelevant bc you’ll wake up to the glass. 3. This only serves as a good prank in hoping they don’t see the bungee hanging out the window

That will work great as long as the air system doesn't bleed of an the bad guy tries the passenger door. A seat belt through the arm rest or grab handle works a whole lot better.

Damn all the places I've slept with just locked doors. An sometimes with screens in the windows. Slept like a log, as long as no one touched my truck. If you did, I was awake and you would be looking down the barrel. Only happened a couple of times in 30+ years.
