doesnt a truck have 2 doors what do you do for the other side..I lock my doors and sleep with colt ...or sometimes smith is along for the trip.
When I was on the road with my husband we used to run the seatbelts through the door handles and lock them just in case someone could get the door unlocked.
As a female over the road driver, I would always lock my seatbelts through the door handle, so nobody was getting in and before everybody comes for me, I could quickly release it from the inside if I needed to get out

That will work great as long as the air system doesn't bleed of an the bad guy tries the passenger door. A seat belt through the arm rest or grab handle works a whole lot better.
Making the horn blare repeatedly if an intruder is able to bypass all other safeguards and try to open your doors is brilliant!!

Damn all the places I've slept with just locked doors. An sometimes with screens in the windows. Slept like a log, as long as no one touched my truck. If you did, I was awake and you would be looking down the barrel. Only happened a couple of times in 30+ years.
