There are 5280 feet in a mile. It's only 90 feet from 3rd to Home so there is no way the throw beat him by a mile. Just sayin'... Pro sports are corporate entertainment so profitability drives the manner in which games are called.

He was out ! Definitely a blown call by the umpire. If replay had been in existence then they might still be playing.

He def touched the plate I can’t tell if he was tagged or not. But I would give it the out cause he was beat. But ump might have saw it better
