not really if the state asked people to stay off the road because of the conditions, then you stay off the road.. could've been worse she could've hit someone else,or worse yet she could've died.

He was trying to make money. One in Ga thought he was going to do that to my mom, but a different situation. He said she can go to court r come and pay it in person. He already knew how much the ticket was going to be. He wrote her two. We got to court he only had turned in one and it was over $500 lest than the other ticket. She was coming from church at night. I told her that he just was the devil. In her late 70’s . What he was charging her for she never does. After that she wouldn’t drive anymore when it got dark. God doesn’t like ugly.👋🏽

She's fighting a battle that she will not win. The officer stated the ticket states that she was driving too fast for the conditions of the road. When driving on icy roads, especially if you don't have four-wheel-drive or chains, you have to drive much slower than the speed limit. She could have even put her hazard lights on and driven 5 miles an hour, which is probably what she should have done. From the sound of it, she has no intentions of paying the ticket which will turn into a warrant which will then lead to her being arrested because she can't accept fault. I don't like cops either but again she's not going to win this battle.
