Than you for sharing your story, I know how hard it was for you to watch the woman you love suffer from the disease of addiction. I myself put my family through the ringer at one point. My husband of 11 yrs sat day in and day out watching me slowly kill myself. For years he tried and I mean TRIED! At the time he had no idea on how to help me so he painfully watched me wither away. In late 2022 he finally threw his hands up. He left me and that only sent me spiraling deeper. For a year we were separated and by the end I barely knew who I was. God works through people, and I praise God he gave my husband the strength to come back to me and put out his hand to help me. It was in that moment I made the best healthiest choice to go into treatment. December 23rd 2023 was the start of my new way of living a healthy life. I pray she continues her journey, many blessings to you and yours.
