Ridiculous rules to have to pay first before eating. The waitress was correct for following the company rules. The man had a right to be angry, but his behavior was out of line.

I don't know where most of the people who commented are from, but I have NEVER EVER paid first at a restaurant where you dine in. that's only for take out. Never, so who's ever saying that you do, what country are you from? because here in the USA, not at ANY dine in restaurants and I've been to many.

well if you are suppose to pay first why not take the money when ordered? Of course I have no clue how that resturant but China is not a honest society. But a lot of time in China these food establishment are not really honest and you have to be careful. For example tap water in China is not safe for human use due to all the heavy metals in it. Chances are very good your food may be cooked in contimated water or cooking oil that was reused from the sewer. But being rude in China is a national passtime and China purposely black mail people to not to trust yourself or others, but only the CCP. Well the CCP his basically allow the country to fall back to the 60's with people starving and millions on the street homeless.

The law said u have to pay for your food but it doesn’t say how u should pay for it this is where respect comes in rudest come in all races of people and there good and bad in all races

as a former waitress and Hostess the customer was wrong, if delt with a little different then it would have been part her fault but since it didn't go that way it's all on him. yes I know the customer is always right, that's what it used to be but some people are just mean and rude for no reason

They should inform the customers that that is their rules before they eat. I think it's the fault of the restaurant. He could have handle himself better. But, his anger is understandable.

I have worked in restaurants my whole life and we where always told the customers are always rte no matter the issue and if your not sure of the issue you have your manager speak on your behalf.
