it's become glaringly obvious that professional sports outcomes are being manipulated using the officiating staff, along with many other methods, to ensure the outcomes of the games. I'm not sure who all benefits from this, but it's obviously not the fans. it will continue, as long as fans continue to waste their money on sports that are not "sports", but businesses, built on scripted outcomes, to satisfy the gambling and box office needs of those making bank from this deception.
