I have gone into a diet recently, I looked at the healthy foods, they are pricey as heck! And the real shocker is that the junk food was a little cheaper than the healthy stuff, I will go to another store smh.
weight is weight one ounce is the same weight always the only thing that changes is the Valium it takes more feathers to make an ounce than it does rocks the only thing that changed was the value the amount it's still the same weight a pound is a pound no matter what
when I was working in the grocery business. the weights and measures guy would come by once a year to check the scales. once a year to check pricing(he would scann 100 items and they all had to be correct to the price on the shelf) once a year to candle the eggs and make sure all dairy products were correct by volume. he busted the local dairy two years for egg nog. milk and the like are sold by volume. but, they are filled by weight at the plant. whole milk weighs more than 2%. but it is less than half and half. so if they aren't calibrated correctly. the volume will be off. my guess is the state hasn't checked the scales in a while. get in touch with your staes dept. of agriculture.

That's not Walmart's fault. I work at Fields. we do Kentucky legend hams and stuff that was done on the line on the scale so QA didn't do their job and fixed the scale tare weight right

I saw this guy do this with Hamburger so it made me wonder. So the other day at Walmart I decided to try this! He is absolutely right I took a 4 lb package of hamburger that they wanted 16 dollars for and weighted it, it was only 2.5 lbs! When I said something the lady said oh the scale must be broken, so I took out my bag of clamentines that weighed 5 lbs, came out to exactly 5 lbs 2 oz no biggie. She took the hamburger from me and never came back! So I always weigh packed products from the Walmarts meat department now. I don't buy it from there anymore but people should definitely know!!

I do t like Walmart either but being someone that uses scales everyday………😁………if you get in a hurry sometimes they get stuck and you end up with something weighing about twice what it should weigh. It’s like you’re in a hurry and you pick one up and set another one down before the scale resets and this can happen. I’m not making excuses for Walmart but maybe for some employees. Seems kind of strange how there aren’t any saying they weigh 3x or 4x but always around 2x.

without even doing the math up i can tell you there is a pattern. whoever is weighing them has sort of a system they do this buy. that is apparent by the way all the ones that said they weighed more actually did weigh a lot more than the other ones. like the ones that said they were five something were all around 2.4 and the ones that said under five were all around 1.90 or so. there's definitely a pattern or a method to their madness. whatever you wanna call it.
it goes both ways brother. I found a steak at Walmart for $0.99 ribeye big thick cut $0.99 brand new. needless to say I purchased that for $1
