Another device that is not needed.....a floor jack and a long pry bar. Save time by not putting it on the lift ....time is money moreso in repair shops.

needs an intergraded hammer to simulate the shock. That way the technician can leave the tool in operation and investigate freely. 2 man job this way. can accomplish the same technique with someone shaking the steering wheel. or one man pry bar. still this method along with a hammer or counterweight, would be most optimal.

Damn fool how much did they waist on that tool? Shit I can diagnose those bushing just by lifting the car and few inches of the ground and with a pry bar under tire you'll get the same results. They make it seem like it's got to have so much play measured in 32nds shit if you're good you just know when something needs to be replaced!
