I did this exact note thing with an ORANGE TABBY that I called GEORGE -after George Strait, my FAVORITE COUNTRY ARTIST—in Littleton, Colorado back around 1989. He would come to my house DAILY & even liked my 4 kitties. One of my 4 cats had been adopted in that very neighborhood (also an orange tabby) & I wanted to know that GEORGE had a home. We eventually moved out of state -(a DEEP REGRET of mine) & I HAD GROWN TO LOVE GEORGE SO MUCH that I wanted to STEAL HIM !!! I DIDNT —because I KNEW he had a family BUT I have NEVER FORGOTTEN HIM! On our final days of moving things out of the house, he HUNG OUT IN OUR HOUSE playing and watching. Part of me still BELIEVES that he wanted to go with us. I’ve wondered often if he had a good life. Writing this just made me cry. 🙏🏼💕

There was and orange tabby that would ALWAYS jump in my car when I use to deliver to a specific street when I worked at dominos. Whenever I'd go in that area I'd stay in my car for a while and wait for him to show up and he always did lol. He'd just jump in and lay in my daughter's car seat 😂 I'd text my manager that I'd have to go get gas and just sit and kick it with him for 10-20 minutes.
